DREDGE DLC: ‘The Iron Rig’ out now!

If just you felt an unexpected shiver run down your spine, let me tell you why – Black Salt Games and Team17 have just released a beast into the water, namely DREDGE‘s latest highly anticipated DLC, The Iron Rig. Also setting sail today is the DREDGE: Complete Edition, offering the full compliment of DLC for fisherman making their maiden voyage into this watery world of horror.

Much like The Pale Reach DLC, The Iron Rig has been designed to be played at any point along the chilling adventure, and should lure shoals of players back to continue the tale. Players will find themselves working alongside the Ironhaven Corporation, whose efforts to expand the eponymous Iron Rig have sinister consequences, releasing a mysterious inky substance from beneath the sea bed.

With a whopping 50 new fish species to catch, a host of new characters to meet, and a lot of work to be done in containing the spread of this ‘Dark Liquid’, The Iron Rig looks like a lunker, further expanding the already impressive world of DREDGE.

Drew reviewed both DREDGE’s initial release and The Pale Reach DLC, and highly recommended them both, so news of The Iron Rig launching has us excited to see what this new instalment will bring!
