It’s official. We’ve lost count of how many games Eastasiasoft are releasing this year. They have dropped another presentation video over on their YouTube accounts detailing the next ten releases. Some are new, some are being ported to different consoles, and some even feature waifus. Let’s have a look at their announcements.

For those who don’t mind watching a ten minute video here’s the announcement in full:

Crimson Spires

Crimson Spires is part exploratory adventure, part visual novel where Sheriff Erika Wright investigates a ring over deadly towers appearing around the small mining town of Bataille. Here she meets residents of a disarming variety, from extreme conspiracy theorists to wealthy vampires and a serial killer. Crimson Spires blends a supernatural atmosphere with romance as you take Erika on a multipath story to solve the mysteries ahead. Crimson Spires is coming to all consoles in the next few months.

Omen of Sorrow

Omen of Sorrow is an Xbox exclusive 2D, four-button fighting game. Powered by Unreal Engine 4, take on a cast of characters inspired by classical horror, fantasy and mythology. This looks to be an interesting title from developer AOne Games. According to the developers Omen of Sorrow will rely on player skill and reflexes rather than power ups, skill points and other character buffs. This all sounds positive and hopefully they’ll deliver as the game is coming soon to Xbox.

Drunken Fist

Drunken Master by DEKLAZON’s is a game we’ve covered before. The brawler is now coming to PlayStation 5 at some point next month. The game features 7 levels to stumble through and by using rag doll physics you attempt to beat up no good punks, jocks, cops and hipsters who get in your way. As with any brawler, looking for food and bottles to collect is a must. Just don’t pass out!

Macrotis: A Mother’s Journey

Macrotis: A Mother’s Journey is due out on Nintendo Switch in July and it tell the tale of Bilby, a mouse like creature on a quest to find her children after they were separated by a storm. Shaping up to be a gorgeous 2.5D platformer utilising the usual jump and climb abilities all mixed with supernatural elements, Macrotis is certainly one we’re keeping our eyes on here at VGamingNews.

Xuan Yuan Sword 7

Another game that has piqued our interest is Xuan Yuan Sword 7. This is a huge scale, epic RPG is the first in the series to release outside of Asia in it’s near 30 year history. Presented as an action-RPG with realtime battles, Xuan Yuan Sword 7 is designed as a celebration of ancient China’s landscape, civilization and culture, infused with the mystique of its own legends in stark contrast to anachronistic technological designs. The calm and reliable swordsman Taishi Zhao fights to protect his family and uncover the truth of a blight threatens all of China. With a story deeply rooted in ancient Chinese history and mythology, Xuan Yuan Sword 7 is certainly one to watch when it releases on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this summer.

Paradox Error

We’ve all played games where suddenly your character jerks and glitches in weird and wonderful games. Well what if those errors weren’t accidental but deliberate? That’s the point of Paradox Error. Launching across all platforms in the next few days, Paradox Error is a black and white 2D retro platformer where you utilise these glitches to cheat death and progress through the game. The environments will change but you can begin to learn patterns of the glitches to help you make progress. The trailer below does the game more justice.

Pretty Girls Klondike Solitaire

It wouldn’t be an eastasiasoft presentation without Zoo Corporation and their plethora of sexy anime ladies. This time we have busty anime ladies mixed with the classic card game Solitarie. Pretty Girls Klondike Solitaire has you playing through the card game and when you succeed in clearing rounds and you’ll be rewarded with new outfits for your lovely companions. You can also view them in the Dressing Room mode. Because of course you can. Pretty Girls Klondike Solitaire is out for PS5, Nintendo Switch and PS4 on 17th June.

Empire of Angels IV

Another series making a debut of sorts is Empire of Angels IV which is appearing on consoles for the first time in the series’ 28 year history. Created by Softstar, Empire of Angels IV is a strategy-RPG offering a fresh perspective on the history of Asgard. Join the Namtar Investigation, a team of Valkyrie as they patrol the Land of Asgard to maintain order against a plague that drives ordinary people to mindless violence. After Niya, captain of the Valkyrie Kingdom’s legion, witnesses a shining orb fall from the sky, everything she understands about Asgard’s history and fragile peace is called into question. Empire of Angels IV is out 23rd June for PS4 & Xbox One and 24 June for the Nintendo Switch. We’ll have a review of the game in the coming weeks.

Mina & Michi

Mina and her best friend Michi travel through the seasons of a Zelda-esq top down world, solving puzzles and challenging baddies along the way. You’ll be able to play either solo or with a friend to collect magical items and learn special abilities that allow them to reach exciting new places. We think this looks really adorable and can’t wait to give Mina & Michi a whirl on 30th June. It’ll launch on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PS4 & Xbox One.

Trigger Witch

Finally, we have Trigger Witch. It’s a similar set up to Mina & Michi, with a cute 16bit top down aesthetic but Trigger Witch is a violent 2D twin-stick action game set in an odd open world where magic is outdated and firearms are the new way of life. Protagonist Colette, a prospective graduate from the Stock, an academy for Witchcraft and Triggery is out for revenge after a mysterious man invades her realm, events are set in motion that turn Colette’s life upside-down. We were sold on the academy pun but we’ll have to wait until July when Trigger Witch releases on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch as well as PS4 and Xbox One.

That’s quite the spread from the chaps over at eastasiasoft. They are certainly a busy lot. Are there any games that grab your interest? Let us know in the comments!
