Tecmo Koei have announced that Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, the epically hard stealth-em up title will be playable from Day 1 on the Nintendo WiiU. From it’s announcement at E3, Tecmo-Koei have stated that they will make use of the advanced power in the WiiU and be bringing the Ninja Gaiden series to Nintendo.

This is great news for Nintendo as they try to reclaim the “Hardcore” market that was lost with the GameCube and Wii era. This takes Nintendo’s launch list to 2 confirmed titles for WiiU as Ubisoft have confirmed an exclusive FPS in the name of Killer Freaks to appear along side Ninja Gaiden 3.

With two Mature titles confirmed for launch already, is this going to be Nintendo being serious about getting the core gamers back on board? 2012 will be an interesting year.
