The Riftbreaker is a strategy base builder from EXOR Studios in which Captain Ashley S. Nowak has to travel to a distant planet to set up a portal so that humanity can populate and colonise the new environment. The trouble is, not all of the local wildlife are thrilled with having aliens on their planet…

The Riftbreaker has you setting up a base of operations, but to further the building of the portal, Ashley and her mech suit, Mr Riggs, have to explore and fight the many creatures of the planet Galatea 37. This exploration brings an action RPG element to the game as you’re fully in control of the suit to fight, look for resources to extract and gather specimens to further the cause.

As you progress through the game, Mr Riggs and the base of operations will be upgraded to fend off even more of the world’s inhabitants. We do think the mix of base building and exploration will go well together, and we can’t wait to find out when the game is launching.

The Riftbreaker is coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S & PlayStation 5 with a ‘Autumn’ date pencilled in. This should mean the game is out in the next few months and if you like the look of the game, you can check out the demo (and wishlist) on Steam right now.
