Have A Nice Death Creeps Onto PlayStation And Xbox

Gearbox Publishing and Magic Design Studios has announced that the 2D Rouge-Lite Have a Nice Death is now available on PlayStation and Xbox consoles right now. The sidescrolling hack ‘n’ slash released earlier in the year for PC and Switch to much fanfare so it’s great that PS and Xbox players can finally join in on the fun.

Priced at £20.99, Have a Nice Death is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One and you can snag a healthy discount on either digital store fronts until 18 December. PlayStation Plus subscribers will also get an additional discount against the RRP, so it’s worth having a look if you’re in the market for a beautiful hand-drawn sidescroller. Have A Nice Death has certainly been well received since it released back in March, with both critics and fans complimenting the tough but stylistic Rouge-Lite in it’s presentation and sound design. The team at Magic Design Studios is happy to see the game reach new platforms. Simon Dutertre, the game’s Lead Designer had this to say:

The 2D Action Rogue-Lite has you playing as Death, Founder and CEO of Death Incorporated, a sprawling corporate empire that processes souls for the afterlife. Death finds himself buried in an underworld-sized mountain of paperwork and teetering on the edge of burnout. His executives, the Sorrows, have been running rampant on Earth’s surface, going off book and ignoring company protocols. In order to regain control of his company Death will need to traverse the various departments of Death Incorporated and remind his unruly subordinates who’s boss by beating the living daylights out of them.

Have A Nice Death is available now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. It’s also available for PC and Switch.
