Hitman 3 is shaping up to be rather a neat package. One of the added benefits of the third game in the rebooted trilogy is that you’ll be able to play all of the levels so far with PlayStation VR. Square Enix have always said this feature is coming but now the first trailer is here ahead of the 20th January release date.

From the trailer, we get the first glimpse of locations such as the Maldives and Japan but from a first person perspective. The developer, IOI games has said this is to give a new immersive feel to the game as they put players in the head of agent 47.

With this new view point comes new challenges, as the field of view will greatly be reduced so we’re expecting a new level of challenge for the VR mode.

On top of the first look VR gameplay, we’ve also been treated to some new screenshots for the Dartmoor level of the game which was previously announced back in August. Check them out below.

There’s not long to wait for Hitman 3 as it releases on 20th January for PlayStation 5, PS4, PlayStation VR, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One & PC. A cloud version of the game will release on Nintendo Switch at a later date.
