Hitman Absolution Announced

IO Interactive, a part of the Square Enix Europe team today announced a new game for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 – Hitman Absolution. Hitman Absolution follows Agent 47, who’s a cold blooded and stoney hearted assassin, on his most dangerous contract to date. Hunted by the police and betrayed by those he once trusted he finds himself in the centre of a dark conspiracy in which he must journey through dark personal times and through the corrupt and twisted world in search of the truth.

There’s little information aside from watch out for E3, as the game’s going to be showcased in a private event in June and a release date in 2012.
