Indie Game Lelu Gets a Demo Ahead of its 2026 Release


Solo game developer Jamie Rowan has announced a playable demo for the upcoming Lelu. The indie game is due out on PC (via Steam) in 2026.

Developed and published by Jamie Rowan, Lelu is a monochromatic action-adventure game about a small clockwork toy who gains consciousness. In the search for freedom, players will the Toy Factory, a sprawling, labyrinthian that’s been filled with puzzles, and traps by a psychotic CEO.



Players have to fight toys and navigate obstacles on the path to freedom. The game takes inspiration from classic games like The Legend of Zelda and Metroid, by incorporating a top-down style with upgradable items and tricky problems that need solving in order for Lelu to escape the factory.

Lelu will be released on Steam in 2026.
