Kingdom of the Dead Coming In 2022

Everyone loves zombies right? Well indie developer Dirigo games certainly does as they’ve confirmed that their latest game, Kingdom of the Dead, is coming to Steam in 2022. From the looks of things, this is going to be one creepy experience.

In Kingdom of the Dead, Agent Chamberlain, a professor turned Army General, now works for a secret government program known as GATEKEEPER. Their primary purpose is to defeat the newly empowered Death and his ever-growing army of the dead. 

This first person shooter will have you exploring the US East Coast, trying to contain the zombie outbreak. Kingdom of the Dead will have 22 different types of enemies hunting players as well as ‘old school bosses’ to deal with along your playthrough. If the story mode leaves you wanting more, there is an endless mission for you to test your skills against an unrelenting army of the dead.

The hand drawn visuals look most impressive and we’re getting Madworld on the Wii vibes from Kingdom of the Dead and that’s no bad thing. The black, white and red visuals give an eerie and grainy feel to the world that sets itself up nicely for some scares.
