Mass Effect 3 DLC shown on Gamestop early

GameStop may have revealed the first piece of DLC for Mass Effect 3 by mistake.

A receipt image sent to Joystiq reveals that GameStop sold a code for Mass Effect 3 DLC called ‘FromDust,’ unrelated to the downloadable game of the same name. According to the reader, the code cost him $10 (approx £8).

While some weapon DLC has been announced, no story episodes have been confirmed and a $10 price tag would certainly seem to suggest a significant piece of content.

For now, the existence of this DLC is just a rumour but will be detailed as soon as details are released. Twitter; brilliant for company slip-ups.

Mass Effect 3 will be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 9th 2012.
