Microsoft E3 to be Broadcast on Xbox Live whilst THQ don’t attend

Xbox Live will be receiving Microsoft’s E3 briefing directly, it has been announced.

Microsoft will host a 90 minute show, titled Entertainment Evolved from 5.30pm on 4th June.

Halo 4 seems to be a safe bet for the majority of the briefing.

Sony’s conference is scheduled for 2.00am on 5th June, with Nintendo following at 5.00pm the same day.

However, THQ has decided not to have a booth at E3 this year alike Activision the year before. They’ll still be present just not in a big way.

“We’re not producing a booth, but we will be participating in E3. We will be showing games to the E3 judges at their event coming up, and we’ll be hosting a press and business center at the show for meetings (as well as participating with first party activities),” THQ stated.

The decision was made when the company was suffering financial difficulty, however, now they regret the decision.
