New Resident Evil 3DS game?

After the success of Resident Evil Revelations it would make sense that a sequel would be in the works and according to Nintendo World Report today, the sequel is not only in the works, but could well be launched by the end of the year.

The very tentative title of Resident Evil: Degeneration-Damnation-Downfall has been rumoured to be set between the events of Resident Evil 5 & 6, again making sense as Revelations was between 4 & 5. This time, it would be staring Chris’s sister Claire as she witnesses the Downfall of mankind.

This is only at the rumour stage at the moment with Capcom remaining tight lipped on the subject. With E3 less than a month away, it will not be long until we know if this is confirmed or not, however given the strong working relationship Capcom and Nintendo have, this is more of a logical step to take.
