New Skullgirls Trailer

Reverge Labs have today released the latest trailer in their up and coming two dimensional fighter – Skullgirls. This cartoon styled beat em up will feature a variety of goth and emo girls with special powers who kick the crud out of each other to gain the Scared Heart, a mysterious artifact that gives the holder the power for wishes to come true. All at a price of course.

The latest trailer features Nadia Fortune who is the last in the long line of the Fishbone tribe – a notorious group of thieves. The last mission is where the gang was ended. A mission to find a Life Gem had resulted in their grisly deaths. Before meeting her own doom, Ms. Fortune swallowed the Life Gem and managed to digest it. The Gem’s power permeated her entire body, making it truly undying… even after being cut into several pieces.

Skullgirls is pencilled in for a release early in 2012 for the PlayStation Network and Xbox Marketplace.
