Capcom have today announced that Okami – the suprubbly hand drawn adventure game from the PlayStation 2 era will be hitting the PlayStation Network and will featured updated graphics and full trophy support. This is not the standard rehash that is starting to come ever more apparent on the current consoles – oh no, this Okami will also feature PlayStation Move controls to give an extra added dimension when creating those brush strokes.

The trailer shows the time and love the people at Capcom have taken to painstakingly bring Okami to the High Definition masses. Each scene in the game is hand drawn and as such had to be completely redesigned for not only better clarity but a wider aspect ratio as Okami now supports the standard 16:9 widescreen presentation.

Okami is a Japanese sun goddess, who inhabits the form of a wolf. After a tyrannical monster turns the world into a ruined wasteland, she must use her magical abilities to restore the land to its previous glory full of life and color and will be available this year from the PlayStation Network.
