After a successful release on PC and Xbox, the brilliantly named Space Lizard Studios have announced that the spooky cardboard cut-out thriller, Paper Cut Mansion, will release on PlayStation and Switch in December. The game is being published by the folks at Thunderful.

Paper Cut Mansion is set in a handcrafted world where players explore a mansion filled with strange characters. With roguelite mechanics gamers investigate what’s been going on in this bizarre place as they look to solve puzzles, battle enemies and complete quests. As it is a rougelite, each run that’s undertaken is unique and multiple playthroughs give a greater chance of making it further along the game.

The story of Paper Cut Mansion sees Toby, a police detective arriving at the road leading to the enigmatic old mansion. Toby is tasked with unfolding the truth behind the ominous place, and players will need a keen eye and sharp detective skills, with each run giving you the opportunity to collect another piece of evidence to be tacked on the Evidence Board. In a twist, a dimensional rift allows players to view the mansion from different dimensions, that further deepen the mysterious goings on.

Space Lizard are excited to share Paper Cut Mansion with folks who have chosen PlayStation and Switch as their go to consoles:

After launching on PC and Xbox, our small team has been working hard to get the game ready for PlayStation and Switch players… I’m delighted that we’re drawing close to finally letting players on those platforms loose in the mansion on December 5th!

Paper Cut Mansion is out now for PC and Xbox and will release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Switch from 5th December.
