PGA Tour 2K21 today receives a new live service called the Clubhouse Pass. It allows players to buy a season pass with 75 levels of goodies to unlock. These range from new clubs, costumes and other unlockables for your player to enjoy. We have all the details and a new trailer for you.
The service has three tiered system. Who doesn’t have this these days? Here’s what to expect from each level:
- Free: This tier allows you to access 15 free levels of the 75 levels in Season 1. Every five levels you pass, you’ll receive a reward;
- Premium Pass (£6.49): Access all 75 levels of rewards;
- Premium+ Pass (£11.99): Access all 75 levels of rewards, plus skip the first 20 levels and automatically unlock those rewards.
Having a free tier is great for players to gauge whether or not the service is good for them. However, there are a few raised eyebrows over the Premium+ Pass. This gives the same rewards as the Premium Pass but is almost double the cost. The extras you get for this; the first 20 levels are unlocked.
You are paying an extra £5.50 (46%) to have 25% of the rewards already unlocked.
It’s not all bad news, on top of the Clubhouse Pass, all players will receive a new course the Detroit Golf Club at no extra cost.
PGA Tour 2K21 Clubhouse Pass is out today on PS4 & Xbox One and Season 1 runs from today (3rd December) – 3rd March 2021. The Nintendo Switch version will come later this month and run for 3 months.
