Ubisoft have announced that the re-release of 2D brawler Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Game, and the remake of Prince of Persia Sands of Time have had their release dates slip. Scott Pilgrim will now arrive on 14th January. Prince of Persia is coming 18th March.
Both delays have been attributed to the current climate where Ubisoft employees are still remotely working, however it’s worth noting that the reveal of Prince Of Persia didn’t go down to well because of the art direction.
Scott Pilgrim sees the return of the popular brawler after it was de-listed from the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live stores nearly a decade ago. It will be available digitally with a physical edition being looked at.
Prince of Persia Sands of Time sees the return of the PlayStation 2 classic 3D platformer in HD. While the remake didn’t set the world on fire, it’s still nice to see a return to the series which has been dormant for far too long.
Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Game launches on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S & Nintendo Switch on 14th January.
Prince of Persia Sands of Time Remake will be available 18th March on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4. As well as PS5/Series X|S via backwards compatibility.
