Sega have finally ended months of speculation and have officially announced that they are bringing Phantasy Star Online 2 to Europe next year. It is currently free to download in Japan, with in game items able to be brought for real money.

The game will be available in 2013 in Europe but will have a full retail version. Like most MMO games, players will be able to create their own unique characters, give them their own special skills and chance to specialise in different class of weapons such as melee or long range.
