EA have also confirmed that depending on which mountain is being played, the environment effects the boarder; such as boarding down the himalayas the snowboarder must stay in the sunlight or else they will freeze. Other such environmental factors include triggering avalanches and falling scenery.
The game is due out the early part of 2012, however no confirmed release date has been set.
