We already know that the Raccoon tail (or more over, suit) is coming back to Mario. The first time since Super Mario 3 in fact. However as can be seen from the screenshots – it is not just Mario that will have access to it. Oh no, this time to spice things up all the enemies with visible posteriors will be able to wear the tail. This means Goombas, Boos and even King Bowser himself will be wearing this, trying to thwart Mario.
What they don’t know is Mario has a couple of suits up his sleeves. For instance, if he can find certain “?” blocks, he can wear them as a make shift cap, acting much the same way as the mushroom helicopter suit from NSMB. Also Mario has access to the Boomerang Bros suit. This let’s him cast as many Boomerangs out as he can.
