2K Games have relaunched the episodic Tales From The Borderlands after it was removed from digital store fronts in the wake of original developer Telltale games going bust. The game is available now for PS4, PC & Xbox players. A Switch version is launching next month.

As was the case with Telltale Games, Tales From The Borderlands is an episodic game driven by choice. The options you select to answer a question, or take a specific action will have a direct impact on how the game unfolds.

The game takes place between the events of Borderlands 2 & 3 and is fully recognised as cannon. The story tells of Fiona who is a full-time con-artist and has been scheming selling a fake Vault Key. Rhys is an ambitious Hyperion employee who is in the market for a Vault Key. Do you see where this is going?

All kinds of mayhem ensues in typical Borderlands style. Familiar characters like Moxxi, Zer0, Marcus, and of course, Claptrap all pop up throughout the story.

Unlike the previous release, Tales from the Borderlands is not sold as in episodic form, rather you pay one price for the following chapters:

  • Episode 1 – Zer0 Sum
  • Episode 2 – Atlas Mugged
  • Episode 3 – Catch a Ride
  • Episode 4 – Escape Plan Bravo
  • Episode 5 – The Vault of the Traveler

Tales From The Borderlands is out now on PS4, Xbox One, PC and can run via backwards compatibility on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A Nintendo Switch version launches 24th March.
