Balan Wonderworld is the latest game from Yuji Naka, creator of Sonic The Hedgehog and Nights Into Dreams. Since leaving SEGA for Square Enix, he’s been hard at work crafting this new IP. Today, the team are ready to give players the chance to have a look at how the game is shaping up with a free demo.

Balan Wonderworld is a 3D platformer that stars Leo & Emma as they navigate through a strange, colourful world created from the memories and emotions of other characters. Led by a mysterious character, Balan, our heroes are tasked with restoring hope and balance to each of the worlds they encounter. New costumes will be unlockable to give you more abilities to help on the quest.

The demo of Balan Wonderworld is around a couple of hours long and explores 3 of the game’s 12 worlds. Each one has a differing theme, from World 1 with rolling farmlands, to World 4 and it’s whimsical homage to flying and the open sky, this will give players a great preview of what’s to come. The demo can be played either solo or local co-op.

Balan Wonderworld launches on PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC on 26th March. The demo is available on all platforms.
