Revolution DLC Activision have finally announced the first of the big DLC add ons for Call of Duty Black Ops II. Named Revolution the downloadable content will initially be made available on the Xbox 360 for 1200 MS points – or included if you have already purchased the Season Pass. The content will bring four huge new maps, a new weapon called Peacekeeper and yes, the Zombies are here.

Launching on 29th January for Xbox 360, Revolution will feature four new maps named: Downhill, Hydro, Mirage & Grind that take players all over the world from the French Alps, to Pakistan and even Los Angeles as players battle out in a variety of different environmental styles. For instance – Grind will put players in a massive skate park with lots of cover, while Downhill will take the battle to the side of a mountain where cover is minimal.

The Peacekeeper is a SMG weapon with its own set of weapon challenges that give enhanced XP in the multiplayer modes. This will only be able to be used in the multiplayer.

Finally, gamers will be heading to the Far East and a destroyed Chinese city to battle against the undead. New devices and weapons can be built and upgraded to stop the hoards of zombies from killing everything, and if they do manage to break ranks and invade then gamers can also become zombies in the “turned” mode, which has also been included.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II: Revolution will release on Xbox 360 from 29th January for 1200 MS points with a PC, PlayStation 3 and Wii U release to follow.
