Tony Hawk Pro Skater was the first and probably best of the extreme sports franchises to come to consoles. Sure you had the BMX and surfing spin offs but Tony and his crew did it better. It also gave players all over the world to listen to different types of music, normally synonymous with the skate scene.

With the HD remake of the first game coming to the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace in the summer, it is only right that Activision have made the music to accompany the game a mix of old and new to complement the game, that and as we understand licensing issues meant only half of the list could be preserved. Here is the set list:

“Bring the Noise” Anthrax featuring Chuck D
“Superman” Goldfinger
“When Worlds Collide” Powerman 5000
“Heavy Metal Winner” Consumed
“May 16” Lagwagon
“No Cigar” Millencolin
“You” Bad Religion
“The Bomb” Pigeon John
“We the People” Lateef the Truthspeaker
“Marathon Mansion!” Pegasuses-XL
“Teenage Blood” Apex Manor
“Please Ask for Help” Telekinesis
“Flyentology (Cassettes Won’t Listen Remix)” El-P featuring Trent Reznor
“USA” Middle Class Rut

Superman and Bring the Noise return as the classic tracks for the series. Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD is due at some point in June for the PSN and XBLM
