Two Point Studios Limited, the team behind the sleeper hit, Two Point Hospital have announced when we can expect to be taking class in their latest game Two Point Campus and unfortunately it’s not on 17th May as it was originally scheduled. Along with the announcement of the delay, the team have also released some new images and a new trailer with what to expect when the game releases across consoles and PC later in the year.

Two Point Campus is a management sim as players have to build a school that sets students up for life. With classes like Knight studies and Gastronomy, the game is set to bring the wacky world of Two Point Hospital to a new territory as players build their own university.

School will be in session on 9th August across all platforms; PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Game Pass. The reason for the delay is to give the team time to make sure each version of the game runs as expected.

Taking to the developer’s forum, Mark Webley, Game Director at Two Point Studios summed up the delay rather nicely

Our ambition from the start has been to release Two Point Campus across all PC and console platforms simultaneously to the quality and standard that our community expects from us. This means we will need a little bit more time with Two Point Campus to make sure we deliver the best possible game that can be enjoyed equally on all platforms”. We will use these additional three months to optimise Two Point Campus for all platforms.

It’s not all bad news however, the developers have treated us to a new developer video explaining some of the classes you’ll be taking and how the mechanics of the game will work.

Two Point Campus is being published by Sega and will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Game Pass on 9th August. The game is available for pre-order on most digital storefronts now.
