Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder’s Revenge Announced For PC & Consoles
If you’ve just skipped to the text and haven’t watched the trailer, we’ll wait… Back with us? Good. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder’s Revenge has been announced for PC and Consoles (platforms tbd). Published by Dotemu and developed by Tribute Games, sees Bebop and Rocksteady stealing weapons and electronics to support Krang and Shredder’s latest scheme. It’s up to our heroes in a half-shell to battle The Foot through numerous locations from the TMNT universe to stop them.
The howling guitar solo from the opening theme has us excited but it was seeing that this will be a 2D 16-bit brawler which really sold us on the concept. Even the briefest of looks at the gameplay and we’re transported back to the SNES days of great Turtle games and we think this will be a game to enjoy.
Apex Legends Releases On Switch
After years of waiting, EA & Respawn have finally brought Apex Legends to the Nintendo Switch. The free to play title doesn’t need a Nintendo Switch Online Membership to play and supports cross-play against the other platforms. All Switch players will receive the new, legendary Pathfinder skin and 30 free levels for the Season 8 Battle Pass – Chaos. As the game supports cross platform play, players will earn double experience points until 23rd March to help catch up with other players.
We’ve downloaded the game and are getting stuck in to a few sessions tonight to see how it compares to the other versions. It’s been a long time coming to play the game on Nintendo’s Hybrid. Although we’re not sure how well our WiFi would be in the car.
Mediatonic Shows Off Fall Guys Ultimate Knockout Series 4041 Levels
If you’re on the platform and love the game, then The Fall Guys Twitter is an account to follow. They’ve been teasing the reveal of Season 4 of the popular online gameshow all day and have finally dropped the video for the first of seven new stages: Skyline Stumble.
The futuristic theme of season 4, or Fall Guys Ultimate Knockout Season 4041 was announced back at the end of February, or 11 days ago if you’re reading this on the day of publication. We don’t know when the season will start, but it’s great to have that first look at the future insanity. We’ll be sure to follow along as more is revealed about season 4, as well as hoping for those Xbox & Switch release dates.
Indie Adventure Game Pine Launches Today
Dutch game developer Twirlbound, along with publisher Kongregate have announced that Pine has made it’s way to PlayStation 4. Originally released on Nintendo Switch and Steam back in 2019, this open world adventure has you exploring a vast land in order to find a home for your small tribe and to protect it from strange enemies. You can decide when to befriend or fight particular species as you compete for food and supplies. You can trade, negociate quest terms or just out right fight them.
Pine didn’t get off to the best of starts when it initially launched. Criticism was levied mainly at it’s ambition on the Switch, however a number of updates later and a release on arguably more powerful hardware could see the game get more attention. It’s out today on the PlayStation Store if you’re in the market for something new to try.
Paradise Lost Gets March Release Date
All in! Games have announced that post-apocalyptic first-person explorer, Paradise Lost, is launching on 24th March for PS4, Xbox One & Steam. Developer PolyAmorous has created an alternative 1980 ravaged by WWII lasting 20 years. Szymon, a 12-year-old boy finds a massive, abandoned Nazi bunker and sets about unlocking its mysteries.
The trailer above doesn’t show much of the game but the first-person puzzler does intrigue us. What will we find in the bunker? Are there any other people in this world? Will there be a German soldier who has managed to download their memories onto a PC using unthought of technologies? Ok, that last one might be out of a Marvel movie, but we’re still excited to learn more about Paradise Lost when it releases in just a few weeks.
Strongholds: Warlords Does Battle On Steam Today
Firefly Studios have released Stronghold: Warlords on PC today. The castle builder/defence game is has had a long road to release but as the above launch trailer shows new gameplay, the full campaign map and a story preview narrated by Rae Lim. Stronghold: Warlords is a beefy game boasting 31 missions in the campaign mode all based within ancient Asian conflicts. Sieges range from 300 BC China to 16th century Japan.
The game introduces gunpowder to the series for the first time and introduces legendary figures like Genghis Khan into the mix. For those with a real hankering for a strategy simulator then look no further. Stronghold: Warlords looks to be a pretty game and with the new additions will mix up the series in a positive way.
