Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D is shaping up to be a nice title. CAPCOM have released a character trailer showcasing the playable Mercenaries including Resident Evil favourites Chris and Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, Rebecca Chambers, Barry Burton and the evil Albert Wesker. Read On
The yearly installment of Fifa has been announced by EA today. The game is due out as normal in Q3 this year. FIFA 12 improves on previous installments including a new Player Impact Engine, a physics engine built to deliver real-world physicality in every interaction on the pitch. Challenging for the ball, winning possession, and testing each other physically have all been improved. Players feel more resilient, push and pull during the fight for possession, and recover from light challenges more easily. Read On
SEGA have today released 9 new screenshots and a teaser trailer for the up-and-coming cooperative shoot ’em up Renegade Ops. The game is coming to the PSN and Xbox Arcade this summer and promises to be an action packed, explosive adventure that can be enjoyed in either single or multiplayer modes. Read On
Atari are bringing the classic 1989 RPG “Warlords” to the screens of 21st Century gamers on the Xbox360 Live & PlayStation Network services this summer. The game will support one to four players as they battle to defend their castles from an onslaught of minions and a nasty fire-breathing dragon. To do this players will have to use a massive shield which is maneuvered around the castle walls to deflect attacks from fireballs, while also strategically planning the next moves of their armies. Rotastic is a new 2D Puzzle game developed by Dancing Dots Studios coming soon to the Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network. Rotastic is a one-button gameplay mechanic that’s both fun and accessible for all types of players. Navigating each course is quite simple – press any button to hook your rope to the nearest anchor point, spin around, gather momentum and release the button to fly from point to point.
The first images and informaton of a new RPG title being developed by Cyanide studios have emerged today. The game is entitled Of Orcs and Men. This RPG will see a release on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 as well as making a PC appearance. Of Orcs and Men takes the role of an Orc soldier from the legendary legion of Bloodjaws, a league of warriors deeply involved in the war opposing the Orcs and Goblins on one side to their persecutors, Humankind. Sony have announced today that EyePet & Friends is coming to the PS3 this year. EyePet is a virtual animal who comes alive in your living room using the PlayStation Move motion controller & the PlayStationEye camera. In this brand new installment two pets can be raised at the same time for double fun!
EyePets are cheeky and fun; always ready to play and often getting into a mischief and won’t leave any “surprises”. Using two Move controllers and the PlayStation camera, two EyePets can play together and with each player on the same screen.
Coupled with today’s news of a new Battlefield 3 trailer, EA have also released PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360 in-game screenshots. As an added bonus we have also been treated with story board and animation shots. From what can be seen, this game is graphically looking very sharp.
In Battlefield 3, players become the U.S. Marines in a first person shooting game. Missions will span across diverse locations including Paris, Tehran and New York. As bullets whiz by, as walls crumble, as explosions force players to the ground, the battlefield becomes a more terrifying part of the game as ever before!
Due out on the 2nd November, for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the game is a direct sequel to Battlefield 2 and is the twelfth game in the franchise.
