Sega Europe today announced that the B movie classic, turned videogame, The House of the Dead is going to be making it’s first leap into high definition with Sega’s The House of the Dead: OVERKILL – Extended Cut. This revised edition of the game will be made available on the PlayStation Move only.
PQube today announced that a new puzzle game will be released on the Nintendo DS on the 10th June – Emily the Strange “Strangerous”, which features over 60 puzzles and ranges 6 chapters. With more than 50 hours of puzzles and riddles to navigate through and caters heavily to the female audience.
Zoo Entertainment today announced that it’s teamed up with the videogame developer Jason Roher to release Diamond Trust of London for the Nintendo DS. Diamond Trust of London takes place in a diamond mining company in Angola, prior to the restrictions put in place by the United Nation in regards to the sale of blood diamonds. To maintain the country’s hold on the diamond mines you must bribe, cut deals and spy on pretty much everyone.
Zoo Entertainment today announced that they are developing a new videogame for the PlayStation Network and the Xbox Live, called Storm, which will be available in Summer 2011. In Storm you’ll be able to control the weather to grow seeds into the trees by guiding them through nature themed levels with peaceful background music.
Swing Swing Submarine today announced that their first Xbox Live Indie Game, Blocks That Matter, is now available on the Xbox Live system for less than $3, or 240 Microsoft Points. Featuring two semi-fictional indie developers named Alexy and Markus, Blocks That Matter is a puzzle platformer where a tiny driller robot travels underground in order to save it’s creator.
SEGA today announced that the latest game to be added to the Xbox Live’s Games on Demand service wil be Vanquish, which is available right now for 3200 Microsoft Points. This titles joins an expanding library of full titles available from SEGA such as Bayonetta, Aliens vs. Predator and Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing. Vanquish adds a new sci-fi mech swing to this set of games by putting the gamer in control of a versatile battle suit and waging war against hordes of soldiers and giant robots.
Namco Bandai today announced that the next instalment in the best selling franchise, Soul Calibur V will be released on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 in 2012. Picking up 17 years after the end of Soul Calibur IV, new and old heroes will grace the game and try and battle through an epic showdown of good vs evil.
Easy Interactive today announced that their latest videogame will hit the Nintendo DS on the 1st June 2011. Hollywood Files Deadly Intrigues is a DS game that’s full of mini-games with a storyline and a hidden objective. This detective game follows the protagonist, Zoey, a private investigator and the owner of a healthy detective agency in Hollywood.
