Ratchet And Clank: Rift Apart Given A Release Date And A Deluxe Edition

The long suffering PlayStation Network is finally having the full service brought back online by Friday this week. This closes the long and drawn out restoration of the PSN which first went down on the 21st April. It has taken over a month for Sony to rebuild and secure the Network after a vicious attack left the log on and personal details of over 77 million world wide users at risk. Read On
Has NGP Been Streamlined To Compete With 3DS?
Reports are coming in that suggests Sony’s upcoming NGP (PSP2) has had it’s insides tinkered with to keep retail costs inline with Nintendo’s 3D device. French website 01net.com has reported that the none 3G version of the Sony handheld has had it’s internal RAM cut down from 512MB to 256MB. Read On
PSN Welcome Back Details
Sony have revealed details of their “welcome back” packages for customers who were hit by the PSN outage in April. They have only one condition, users must have been registered on the PSN at the time the hack – 20th April 2011. Details are confirmed that non-members of the PlayStation Plus service will get 30 days absolutely free, for registered users this is 60 days. Music Unlimited users will also get an additional 30 days free usage.
PSN Restoration Starting
The troubled PlayStation 3 network is finally starting it’s restoration today with a limited service being rolled out to all the users in the country. Sony has released a statement on their EU Blog detailing that every user has to update the software to version 3.6.1 in order to resume use. Read On
PlayStation Network Still Down
It’s been two weeks since the PlayStation Network infamously fell fowl to a hacking attack, the online system is still down with updates being provided on the PlayStation US and EU blogs. However, these updates aren’t actually telling users what they want to know. With the system down for two weeks and with no real end date in sight, users are starting to complain and more than just a little.

The troubled PlayStation Network will be coming back to users at some point in the next 7 days Sony have said today. The service has been down since 21st April. Xbox Live Phishing Problems
It would seem that all of the online services are suffering problems at the moment. With Sony being sued and facing huge fines from governments over the PlayStation Network crisis, Microsoft today confirmed that they are facing problems with fishing in messages for users whilst playing online games.
