    The Wii U will launch in the US, Europe, Australia and Japan by the end of 2012, Nintendo has promised. Following the release of its third quarter 2012 financial results, Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata told reporters in Japan today the Wii successor will hit key markets for the end of the year.

    Nintendo have released the first demos for the Nintendo 3DS today. Resident Evil: Revelations and Cooking Mama 4 are the first titles to be showcased for free. Each demo can be downloaded directly to the system’s memory card from the e-shop and is good for 30 plays.
