Possible Wii U launch date?
According to website WiiUDaily.com Nintendo could have possibly pegged the launch date of it’s next console – the Wii U for a 18th November launch in the Americas and landing a week later in Japan. Unfortunately no UK date was gained.

New Xbox 360 limited edition controllers
Mircosoft have lifted the lid on a set of new controllers as part of a special “Chrome Series” of controllers for the Xbox 360. They will come in three flavours; Silver, Blue and Red. They also have a redesigned D-pad.

News has come through to us today that the GAME group has been purchased by investment company OpCapita in a deal that saves just over 3,200 jobs and the 333 remaining GAME/Gamestation stores in the UK ending the 6 days the company has spent in administration.

UK Charts – Week 12
Another week has flown by and even with the release of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, it has been unable to release the strangle-hold EA have with the top of the charts. Debuting at a respectable number 2 position, it was unable to knock Fifa Street off the top spot.

Assassin’s Creed III Special Editions & WiiU information
Assassin’s Creed III will have 3 special editions for gamers to choose from when the game launches on 31st October. Ubisoft have confirmed that the 3 editions will be available for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms but no news on any WiiU versions save for the normal edition.
